Staring contest

Often seen as a game of endurance and willpower, a staring contest involves two participants who lock gazes and attempt to refrain from blinking for as long as possible. The contest concludes when one participant inevitably blinks. Some variations of the game also include a rule against smiling, adding an extra layer of difficulty.
