Glycolic acid cleanser

This type of cleanser is known for its exfoliating properties, which are attributed to the presence of glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). It effectively sheds dead skin cells, revealing newer, brighter layers underneath. The small molecular size of glycolic acid allows it to penetrate the skin deeply and accelerate cell turnover by dissolving the bonds that hold skin cells together.
