Dispersed camping

Referring to the practice of setting up camp outside of designated campsites on public land, dispersed camping is common on national forest and Bureau of Land Management land in the United States. This form of camping offers a more primitive and solitary experience, often without amenities like restrooms or water supply. It requires campers to follow Leave No Trace principles to preserve the natural environment.
