Data analysis expressions

Often referred to as DAX, Data Analysis Expressions is a formula language that is native to several Microsoft products such as PowerPivot, Power BI Desktop, and SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular models. It includes a library of functions and operators that can be combined to build calculation formula expressions. This language is primarily used for data modeling, manipulation and analysis in Power BI.
