Chemical sunscreen

Referring to a category of sun protection products, chemical sunscreens work by absorbing ultraviolet (UV) rays, converting them into heat, and then releasing them from the body. The active ingredients commonly found in these sunscreens include avobenzone, octinoxate, and oxybenzone. Unlike physical sunscreens that sit on the skin's surface, these sunscreens absorb into the skin, providing a less visible finish.
