Canned lychee

Preserved in a syrup typically composed of water, sugar, and citric acid, canned lychees are peeled, seedless fruits. The fruit's flesh is creamy white, juicy, smooth, and subtly sweet. It is noteworthy that the lychee is the sole member of the Litchi genus in the Sapindaceae family.
