Bergson

Influential French philosopher of the early 20th century, Henri-Louis Bergson, made significant contributions to both analytic and continental philosophy. Born in Paris in 1859, he was influenced by the works of Kant, Descartes, and Einstein. His philosophical contributions were recognized globally when he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1927.
