Artificial general intelligence

Refers to a type of artificial intelligence that is capable of understanding, learning, and applying knowledge across a wide range of tasks at a level equal to or beyond human capability. Unlike narrow AI, which is designed for specific tasks, AGI can adapt to new situations and solve problems it wasn't specifically programmed for. It represents a significant advancement in AI technology and is often referred to as strong AI.
